Home Sweet Home

After two fantastic weeks on vacation in upstate New York and Canada we have finally come home to the roost.

Our first stop was at Karen's Uncle Jerry's home in Scotia where we rested from our trip for a couple of days before heading to Lake Cayuga ( one of the eight finger lakes ) where we stayed in a cabin on the shore of this beautiful thirty mile long lake. After a week of relaxing and wine tasting it was time to hit the road again. We headed to Merrcikville Canada where we stayed at the most beautiful Millisle Bed & Breakfast. The owners ( Chef Debra and Hough MacLennan)make you feel right at home in this beautiful Victorian style home and can you say Breakfast. Debra cooks up the most fantastic breakfast you will ever have. This B & B is located in Beautiful Marickville, Ont. Canada. This Quaint little town is located on the beautiful Rideau Canal and the home of many shops and restaurants. About thirty miles north of the US,Canadian border.

After all this relaxation we thought we should return to REALITY and head home to the REAL World.

I knew it would happen sooner or later, But why so SOON.

It's time to get off the sidewalk, go inside and lock the doors. Mr. G is on the road.

A Small Family Gathering

It was A great day for family, fun and BBQ. The weather was perfect and the water was warm. Linda & Lee Ann came all the way from Arizona to cool off in our cool weather. :)

A sad day has come

Well we knew the day would come when all those beautiful curly locks would have to go. It was a sad day at the barber shop when Gavin and his Golden curly locks had to part company. Gavin took it very hard(note the photos) while his life long companions said A final farewell. Now we must pick up the pieces and move on while waiting for the next life altering experiance .

" BIG GAME HUNT "

A real wild life safari. We went hunting for some "big game" and hit the jack-pot. There were so many lions and tigers and giraffes and monkeys and zebras there were so many I lost track of them all. We were even able to tame a few of them and they let us get up close and personal.

WOW WHAT A DAY !!!

The dog days of summer

Well the water and the weather are both up to par today so we just had to make the best of it. Like I said Life is great ESPECIALLY if your a grandparent.
